Quality Control: Free Form machinery performs with an astonishing level of accuracy and yet still requires constant maintenance and control to keep production quality consistent. Our team regularly evaluates the lenses we produce at our lab. Using an independent auditor, we provide specific lens samples for all our portfolios and compare the theoretical lens design to the actual. With rigorous reporting and full map measurements, we track lens quality throughout the entire manufacturing process.

In-house, thin film coating processing center used in the application of hard coat and Anti-Reflective coating treatments on prescription eyewear– Our coatings rival the durability and clean-ability of any lab in the industry. In addition to hard coat and AR, we offer protection coating against harmful blue light and UV rays to ensure every consumer’s therapeutic needs are met to the highest degree.

FRONT AND BACK SURFACES

Diamond Series Dual-Add Technology combines complex surfaces on both sides of the lens to provide excellent vision correction. The distinct variable base curve on the front surface of the specially designed lens blank allows expanded reading zones and improved peripheral vision.

When combined with a back-surface design using Digital Ray-Path, both surfaces work together to accommodate and expan Rx Range, offer better cosmetics for many prescriptions, and yield user-prefrred near vision and performance.

PROGRESSIVE ADDITION LENS


The most advanced technology available to make digital lenses. The important difference appears when calculating the back surface of the lens. Instead of using a pure geometrical method, Digital Ray-Path technology is based on an advanced three-dimensional calculation model that takes into account the actual position of the lens and the natural movements of the human eye.

The result of this innovative calculation method is a progressive lens that is personalized and provides better  sion in all zones of the lens.

PROGRESSIVE ADDITION LENS

Surface Power is our entry-level digital surfacing technology. Progressive lenses made with this technology have the progressive surface on the backside of the lens, and a simple curve, typically a sphere, on the front.

 

The progressive surface is calculated using a pure geometrical method that produces lenses with similar optical performance as conventional progressive lenses, but with the advantages of the digital process, like flexible designs, variable corrior lengths, and insets. Surface Power progressive designs transfer the progressive design to the back surface of the lens to allow free-form processing.
